Washer main drive belt. This belt is located under the washing machine and is used to drive the splutch pulley. It goes around the motor & splutch pulleys. Worn or broken drive belt can cause spin or washplate problems.
The belt is looped around a motor drive pulley and a tub pulley or an agitator drive shaft. To begin the agitation cycle, the control will send voltage to the drive motor which drives the belt which, in turn, rotates the tub or oscillates the agitator. For some front-load washers, a motor control board will regulate the amount and polarity of the voltage sent to the motor in order to affect the speed and direction of the tub. Once the agitation cycle is complete, the water will need to be drained from the tub. To accomplish this, the washer control sends voltage to the drain pump which pumps the water out the drain hose to a free-standing laundry tub or standpipe. Depending on the model, the drain pump may also be driven by a belt attached to a motor drive pulley. On some top-load washer models, the motor will drive the pump by spinning in the opposite direction than it did during the agitation cycle. During the drain cycle, or immediately after, a brake releases and the motor and belt will spin the washer tub. The faster the tub spins, the more effectively the water is removed from the clothes or linens.
Fortunately, replacing a washing machine belt is not that complicated once you know how to access the area where the belt is located. While the disassembly procedure will differ depending on the washer model, here are some general steps you can follow if you need to replace a broken belt on a top-load washer or a front-load washer:
These hoses are made for high pressures, built for water blasting, and designed to clean even the dirtiest industrial surfaces. Gates pressure washer hoses can withstand the heavy-duty water pressure force your application demands, without abrasion, crushing, or kinking.
You may find this shocking, but older appliances like washers and dryers are more robust and last longer than newer appliances. The answer is simple: cost. Over the years, companies have found newer and more inexpensive ways to produce washer and dryers. Although they may offer more options for washing and drying cycles along with a variety of sensors that can detect amounts of clothes and smart technology, they also come with less robust components.
After checking your washing machine, they should be able to diagnose the problem and offer a solution. In this scenario, it could be something as simple as a broken belt causing the problem. With the simple and inexpensive replacement of a belt, your old washing machine will be back in business and ready to keep working.
A belt drive pressure washer offers a lower overall cost of ownership that the direct drive. When the pump runs slower, cooler, and under less vibration; it will result in extended life of the pressure washer. Belt drive pumps run at half the speed when connected to a gas engine through pulleys which mean the pump bearings and crank and plunger travel half the distance for every hour the washer is run. The belt drive pumps also hold more oil and it is kept cooler which leads to much longer bearing and crankcase life. The value equation is that the initial purchase price does not go up that much compared to the advantage of a pump that lasts twice as long.
Simply by heating up the water, a hot water pressure washer delivers dramatically improved cleaning power compared to a cold water machine. Hot water pressure washers are especially useful for cleaning sticky, greasy, or oily surfaces, because they will loosen the dirt much faster without the large amounts of soap, detergent, or other cleaning chemicals that must be used with a cold water system.
A hot water pressure washer is essential for any cleanup job involving a sticky, greasy, or oily mess, as well as for applications where a surface must be sanitized. With a variety of models available, including self-contained mobile units with gas, diesel, or electric power, Hydro Tek hot water pressure washers can go anywhere and clean anything. Some common applications include heavy equipment cleaning, vehicle cleaning, graffiti removal, restaurant hood vent cleaning, and livestock facility cleaning.
As your washing machine shakes and vibrates over time, its belt may loosen. A loose belt leads to sluggish spinning and faulty pumping. You can perform a simple troubleshooting measure with two common tools to correct the problem, but first you'll need to access the appliance's motor. Lay down a few old towels before you get to work to help mop up moisture and make the potentially cramped work environment a little more comfortable.
On some washers, the motor may be on the underside of the appliance. In this case, lay down thick cardboard or foam mats and enlist a partner to help you gently tip the unplugged washer to access the belt. If the belt appears shiny, worn or cracked, replace it with a new one.
Press the motor into the washing machine and downward or toward the edge of the appliance. With the motor pressed firmly in place, tighten the mounting nut by turning the wrench clockwise. Keep a finger on the belt; when you can depress it only about 1/2 inch with your thumb, you have reached proper tension. You may need to enlist a helper.

There are two belts under a Maytag 'Dependable Care' washer; one for the main drive pulley and one for the water pump. The main drive belt is designed to slip on the motor pulley until the basket comes up to speed so it gets some wear and tear. The water pump belt does not slip and usually wears less.
The main drive belt part number is 211125 and the water pump belt part number is 211124. Both can be purchased in a single package under number 12112425 which is usually slightly cheaper than buying them individually and also contains installation instructions.
Reach under the washer and guide the old belts off the motor pulleys. The motor has tension springs that will provide slack in the belts to get them on and off. Make sure the motor carriage is free to move back and forth. It not, there may be a problem with the carriage rollers or springs.
Put the new belts on in the same order that you took the old ones off. The main drive belt is the biggest one. Make sure the pump belt has play as illustrated above. When the center is squeezed together, the pump belt sides should be no further apart than 1/4" or it is too tight. Once installed appropriately, lower the washer and push it back against the wall.

There could be small leaks, holes, or tears in your garden hose or high-pressure hose that are causing your pressure washer to lose pressure when you pull the trigger. If you find leaks, plug the holes or replace the hose, which should solve your pressure issues. If there are no leaks, this is also a good step to check for any kinks in the line which could be stalling water flow.
The only air flowing through your pressure washer should come through the air filter. If air is getting in through another way other than the air filter, then that could mess with your water pressure. Check the hoses and pipelines to make sure they are fitted correctly and tightened all the way.

Keep in mind that parts may cost about the same but labor can add dramatically to the total cost. For example, both couplings and washer pumps cost $10 to $15, but the total cost (including labor) for couplings ranges from $90 to $150. Meanwhile, the total cost for a pump can be as much as $350 or more.
A direct drive pressure washer or direct drive pump gets its name because it is directly connected to the engine. It works by sliding a hollow shaft onto the motor's drive shaft, which allows it to match the engine's RPM (Rotations per Minute).
The engine in a belt drive pressure washer works by using a pulley-and-belt system to drive the pump. Ambient temperature air is drawn in from the front recoil side of the engine, and then passes over the outside cooling fins of the engine. 781b155fdc
