JAPAN DOMESTIC STANDARD HEAVY MACHINES

Japan Domestic Standard "JDS" for short Heavy Construction Equipment are originally manufactured in Japan, intended for the sale only in Japanese Market or Japan Domestic Market. You cannot buy these machines Brand New and export them outside Japan, however, after being sold to the domestic market it is now at the discretion of the owner to sell them in the international market. The manufacturing process for these machines follows the Japanese Standard Directives set by the Japan Industrial Standard (JIS) mark, administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI). This JIS is being enforced by the Japanese industrial Standard Committee (JISC).

Heavy machines with Japanese Trademark eg. Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Furukawa, etc. manufactured in other ASEAN countries like India, Thailand, Indonesia, China has different Standards in their manufacturing process. The word "STANDARD" does not signify a QUALITY, however, Japanese Standards are proven to be Durable and with added options.

Some Heavy Machines that are being manufactured in Japan are Mark with "CE", these machines are intended only for Europen Market which passes to European Standards. You may see the "CE" markings in the Product identification nameplate. These are exclusively exported to European Countries.

Heavy Construction Machines includes Hydraulic Excavators, Bulldozers, Motor Graders, Road Rollers, Cranes, Forklifts, Dump Trucks, and any heavy-duty vehicles designed for executing construction tasks, most frequently ones involving earthwork operations or another large construction task.
